Reviews/Recaps 2x12 "He Ain't Heavy"

The Examiner.com has their review up:

The gang finds themselves working with the FBI on a murder/bank robbery. As it turns out, Frost knows the head FBI agent, Anna. The angry banter between them is hilarious. Korsak does some snooping, and Frost and Anna were engaged! Sadly Korsak never confronts Frost about it. That was the one thing missing from the storyline. Other than that, the Anna and Frost storyline was a nice addition to the episode. It was nice to have a funny Frost storyline in there.

TVFanatic.com has their recap up:

"He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" portrayed Jane Rizzoli in many roles including mediator, mentor, disappointed sister and wounded friend. She ran the gamut from supportive, to frightened, to outraged - and, in the end, I loved her even more for it.

Let's start with mentor. Jane did a great job of connecting with the female FBI agent. There may have been some friction over a jurisdictional dispute but Jane never let it ruffle her feathers. She also didn't take the easy road of berating the younger, less experienced woman when she didn't check the van or came on too strong with the grieving widow. Jane bolstered her confidence instead of tearing her down and earned some much deserved respect in the process.

DeamonTV has their review up:

Once again Rizzoli & Isles uses its title as an ongoing theme throughout an episode. Tonight’s “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother” refers to a couple sets of problematic siblings. First there’s the guy who’s considered the good brother in his family, who decides to start robbing banks and gets his bad brother (who’s actually trying to be good) killed.
