— Picture it, mainly because there are no caps it, a night-time vista of Boston intercut with a hooded figure putting together a pipe-bomb. A voice-over informs us that this episode takes place three months after last season's siege. Jane is being honored at a "Salute to Heroes" event along with an Army Private named Abby who saved her platoon in Afghanistan. The villain of our episode continues to build his deadly weapons. The only thing missing is an evil laugh and dastardly mustache twirl. Thankfully, this preface ends with a cut to Dr. Maura Isles, looking as foxy as we all remember her and as my oil painting of her in my parlor would attest, getting ready for an evening out.
