The Voice of TV did their review of the premier:
Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) are back and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve missed this show. I’ve been looking forward to this Premiere for weeks, months even. Although the show is another comedy procedural, much like Bones and Castle, Rizzoli & Isles is completely different for one important reason: no shipper stress! Instead we have the most unconventional BFF’s that bring this show magically together.
